Do I need an existing audience to apply?
No. We welcome up-and-coming teachers, not just big names. We look for a clear point of view and a real practice — the kind of teaching members come back to. If you have an audience, great; we'll help you bring it with you. If you don't yet, the roster and our promotion are built to help you find one.
Is Babage exclusive — can I stay on YouTube, Instagram, glo or Alo?
Keep your socials — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube are how people find you, and we want you posting there. Babage is where your paid, members-only practice lives, and that part we ask to be exclusive so members always know where to find the real thing. We never touch your free content or your other channels.*
Who owns my content and my member list?
You own your content and your relationship with your members. You keep your email list and can export it any time. We license your classes to host and stream them while you’re on the platform — we don’t claim them as ours. A home, never a hostage.*
What happens to my members if I leave?
You leave with your list. Because your member emails are yours and exportable, you can invite your community wherever you go next. We’d rather earn your stay than trap it.*
Where do I film my classes?
Wherever you are. Babage is fully online — you record your classes yourself, in your own space, and upload them. There’s no studio to visit, no crew, and no travel. (Babage grew out of a Beverly Hills yoga studio, but the platform itself is online-only.)
What gear do I need, and how much time does it take?
A phone on a tripod in good light is enough to start — many creators upgrade over time. You film on your own schedule: batch a month of classes in an afternoon, or post one a week. Most creators publish a new class every week or two.
How and when do payouts work?
An industry-leading 80% revenue share, paid every month. Members pay a subscription, and your cut lands on a transparent monthly schedule — no ad rev-share roulette, no opaque pool. The earnings estimator on our homepage runs the same model forward.*
How does the seasonal cohort and application bar work?
We take a small group of creators each season rather than opening the floodgates — a roster, not a feed. That lets us promote each teacher hard instead of burying them. We read every application; if it’s not the right season, we’ll tell you when the next cohort opens.
